SGR Attorneys Close Sale and Recapitalization of Nutrition Physiology Corporation
SGR attorneys Jay Schwartz, Michelle Edwards, Jeff Bekiares, Jessica Clay and David Santi recently closed the sale and recapitalization of Nutrition Physiology Corporation, a leading marketer and supplier of direct-fed microbial feed additives to feed lots and dairies. NPC’s patented Bovamine products are fed to more than 4,000,000 beef cattle and 400,000 dairy cows annually. The Halifax Group, L.L.C. purchased a controlling share in NPC and provided the equity and obtained the debt necessary for the transaction. NPC co-founders Dr. Douglas Ware and Michael Ray retain a minority ownership stake in NPC and will continue to participate as part of the senior management team and serve on the Board of Directors of NPC.
